Ssraeshza Temple is the home of the Shissar -- ancient serpent-like creatures banished to Luclin millennia ago. The temple has multiple floors, with the deeper areas housing increasingly powerful enemies culminating in Emperor Ssraeshza (level 66, 1,250,000 HP) at the top. The temple is accessed from The Deep on Luclin.
The lower floors of the temple are accessible to anyone. However, there are two separate keys required to fully access the temple's upper areas:
The quest information comes from Elder Glanoxx, an Iksar slave held captive within the temple itself. When you hail him, he looks sick and motions for something to drink. Give him a Water Flask and follow the dialogue keywords to learn the secret of the key.

| Elder Glanoxx | Ssraeshza Temple (lower floors) | Iksar slave; give him a Water Flask, then say "release" → "crusaders of prophecy" → "secret of the key" to learn the combine recipe |
| an Iksar foreman | Ssraeshza Temple (near smelting furnaces) | Optional -- say "glanoxx sent me" then "weakness" then "tainted metal" to learn about forging tainted Shissar weapons using green metal from the mines |

Elder Glanoxx is an Iksar slave held captive in the lower floors of Ssraeshza Temple. When you hail him:
Elder Glanoxx looks like he's been sick for some time. He looks at you for a moment and motions for something to drink.
Hand Elder Glanoxx a Water Flask (item 13006 -- a common drink sold by many vendors). He responds:
'Are you here for them... are you here to release us?'
Say "release". Glanoxx responds:
'The ones that keep us here... the ones who defy the gods. They must be destroyed. I cannot recall a time outside of this place, but I believe the stories. I trust that we are from somewhere else. These creatures claim to be gods. They claim to have created us from the filth of the mines. This cannot be. I have seen the face of our true god. He told me of their blasphemy. He came to me and handed me the knowledge of how to reach their Emperor. He taught me to resist the prying magic of the fanatics. Are you the crusaders of prophecy... the ones who walk in the mist?'
Say "crusaders of prophecy". He responds:
'The prophecy will come to pass at last. Take my knowledge... the knowledge of our lord. I will not last much longer. This sickness will kill me like the others. There is one other who can help you. He claims to know some weakness of these creatures, seek him at the smelting furnaces near the mines. Now I must tell you the secret of the key.'
Say "secret of the key". Glanoxx reveals the three items you need:
'There is a pouch to be found. It was specially made and requires three separate components to function. Seek out the Idol of Zazuzh and the Ring of Zeruzsh. These items are kept by the Emperor's must loyal Taskmasters. Place with them the Ssreashzian Insignia. This item will be much harder to acquire. I am sure you will be successful... our lord walks with you. Please be swift.'
Glanoxx uses slightly different names than the actual item names:
The Taskmaster's Pouch he mentions drops from the named Taskmasters, Warden Mekuzh, and Rhozth Ssravizh throughout the temple.
The Taskmaster's Pouch (item 17118) is a 4-slot No Drop container required for the final combine. It is consumed when you combine. It drops from the following NPCs, all level 60 with 32,000 HP:
This is usually the easiest piece to obtain since there are nine potential sources. Farm this first while organizing the harder Commander/General kills.
Commander Zazuzh (NPC 162003, level 56, 17,500 HP) drops two important items:
Commander Zazuzh is a challenging named Shissar requiring a well-geared group. He has max hit of 150 and a 3,500 HP enrage threshold.
Commander Zherozsh (NPC 162027, level 58, 18,270 HP) drops Zeruzsh's Ring (item 19717) at a 100% drop rate (No Drop). He is the higher-level of the two Commanders with a max hit of 150 and a 3,500 HP enrage threshold. Bring a solid group with crowd control.
The Ssraeshzian Insignia (item 19718) is the third and hardest combine component. It drops (No Drop, 100% drop rate) from three different named NPCs, all level 53 with 150,000 HP -- despite their lower level, these are among the most powerful non-boss mobs in the temple:
Elder Glanoxx warns that this item will be "much harder to acquire" -- and he's right. With 150,000 HP and 4,500 max hit, these NPCs are significantly tougher than the Commanders and require a strong raid force to take down. For comparison, the Commanders have only ~18,000 HP.
Once you have all three items, place them into the Taskmaster's Pouch:
Hit Combine. This is a no-fail combine (recipe 9933) that does not require any tradeskill level. The pouch is consumed in the process (replace_container). The result is the Ring of the Shissar.
The Ring of the Shissar (item 19719) is both a wearable ring and a key item:
There are two key-locked barriers in the temple (verified from the door table):
With both keys, you have full access to the entire temple, including Emperor Ssraeshza's room and the bosses leading to him.
